South Bay Food Fest Logo
Through word of mouth we got connected with the fine folks in charge of The South Bay Food Fest coming to the Home Depot Center this Saturday October 15th, 2011. It’s gonna be a feeding frenzy with over 30 of the top local food gourmet trucks, live entertainment, eating competitions, and last but most certainly not least a beer garden. Hoodzpah was brought on to design the logo for the fest as well as some other collateral including posters, ads, shirts, banners, and coasters. They wanted a retro looking logo with a hint of a circus-y feel. So we got to work and the above logo was our end result. We came up with some really fun and clever logo and branding ideas that didn’t make the cut. We literally laughed our way through this job. Maybe it’s a creepy twin thing, or maybe our ideas really were that amusing. Decide for yourself by taking a look below at some of the mock ups that didn’t make it. Not present are the VW bus with a hoagie on the surf racks, and the taco bandito mascot complete with giant unibrow, mustache, spurs and sombrero.
